How to get good at this
The trap in a capitals quiz is the biggest city. Plenty of countries deliberately made a smaller place their capital: Brazil built Brasília in an empty middle, Australia chose Canberra so that neither Sydney nor Melbourne would win, and the United States put its government in Washington rather than New York. When the obvious city is on offer, that is often exactly why it is wrong.
How the round works
Ten questions, four answers each, and the score in the corner counts up as you go. There is no clock and nothing is taken away for a wrong answer, so thinking for a minute costs you nothing. At the end you get the list of the ones you missed, and every one of them is a link to the page that explains it — which is the part worth doing, because being wrong is the moment you are most curious about the answer.
Nothing is stored anywhere. There is no account to make, no score kept on a server and no streak that breaks if you go away for a week — the round simply starts again from the beginning, with fresh questions, whenever you come back.
